Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These Terms explain who you buy from, how orders and payments work, and your rights when shopping at www.bovart.com. Please read them together with our Shipping Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy, which form part of the terms of your purchase.

2. Products and product information
We sell standard jewellery pieces by collaborating artists, including Ivan Midžić. The artist, materials, dimensions, available variations and any relevant care or safety information are described on the product page.
Handmade pieces may have small variations in texture, finish or shape consistent with the description. Screen settings can also affect the appearance of colours. These explanations do not remove your right to receive goods that match their description, the agreed characteristics and applicable conformity requirements.
Availability is shown on the website. If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you promptly. We will not substitute another product without your agreement.
3. Prices and charges
Prices are displayed and charged in euros (EUR). The price payable includes any taxes that we are legally required to charge. Delivery charges are shown separately before you place the order. Any destination-dependent tax adjustment and the complete order total will be clearly displayed before payment.
Additional paid services apply only if you expressly select them. Your bank or card provider may apply its own currency-conversion charges if your account is in another currency.
Price changes apply to future orders and do not change the price of an accepted order. If we identify an obvious pricing or description error before accepting your order, we will contact you to explain it. We will not charge a corrected higher price without your agreement. If the order cannot proceed, any payment taken will be refunded promptly.
4. Placing an order and forming the contract
Before submitting an order, you can review the products, quantities, delivery details and total price, and correct errors. Please provide accurate contact and delivery information.
By selecting the final payment button, you submit an order with an obligation to pay. An email that only acknowledges receipt of your order is not, by itself, acceptance. We accept your order when we send an email confirming that it is being processed or dispatched, or when we dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.
Before acceptance, we may decline an order for an objective reason, such as product unavailability, failed payment or reasonably suspected fraud. We will notify you and promptly refund any payment already taken. After acceptance, cancellation or changes are governed by your statutory rights, these Terms and applicable law.
We provide confirmation of the purchase and the applicable terms by email or another durable medium. Please retain these records. The version of the Terms applicable when the contract is formed governs that purchase.
5. Payments
Online payments are processed through Viva.com (Viva Payments) using Viva Smart Checkout. The available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may depend on your location and payment provider.
Viva and the relevant payment institutions process payment credentials, authentication information and transaction data to complete and secure the payment. We receive the information needed to administer your order, payment status and refunds. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes on our website.
Your card issuer may require additional authentication. A failed or incomplete payment does not constitute a completed purchase. Our Privacy Policy explains the use of personal data in connection with payments.
6. Delivery within the European Union
We offer delivery to the 27 EU Member States. Available delivery options, address-specific restrictions and charges are shown before you place your order. We do not currently offer delivery to countries outside the EU.
Orders are sent from Croatia through Hrvatska pošta (Croatian Post). Delivery in the destination country may be completed by a local postal or delivery partner.
The usual estimated transit time is 5 to 15 business days after dispatch. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays affecting the route. Any preparation time and a more specific delivery estimate applicable to your order will be made available before purchase.
Delivery estimates may be affected by postal delays, seasonal demand, public holidays or other disruptions. Unless a different delivery period is expressly agreed before purchase, we will deliver without undue delay and no later than 30 calendar days after the contract is formed.
If delivery is delayed, please contact us. We will investigate and keep you informed. Your rights to require delivery within an appropriate additional period, or to terminate the contract and obtain a refund where the law permits, remain unaffected.
We remain responsible for loss or damage in transit until you, or a person you designate other than the carrier, physically receive the goods. See our Shipping Policy for further details.
7. Withdrawal and returns
If you buy as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after receiving the goods. Where goods from one order arrive separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
You can notify us by email, by post or through the website’s Withdraw from contract function. Our Returns and Refunds Policy includes the full procedure and a model withdrawal form. Using that form is optional.
After notifying us, you must send the goods back within a further 14 calendar days. You pay the direct return postage for a change-of-mind return, unless we agree otherwise. We bear the necessary costs of remedies for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods as required by law.
You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. Handling beyond what is necessary may result in liability for a reduction in value, but does not automatically remove your right to withdraw.
8. Faulty goods and statutory rights
We are responsible for goods that do not conform to the contract. EU consumers have statutory protection for a minimum of two years from delivery; longer or additional rights may apply under the law that protects you.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to repair or replacement free of charge, or to a price reduction or termination and refund where the legal conditions are met. Remedies must be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.
Please report problems to info@nomamare.com. An order number, description and any useful photographs help us assess the issue, but photographs are not a condition for exercising your legal rights.
Normal wear, or damage caused by misuse, is not in itself a product defect. This does not exclude liability for an underlying defect or misleading product information. Any applicable statutory extensions or suspensions of protection, including those connected with a remedy, remain unaffected.
9. Complaints and disputes
You may submit a written complaint by email to info@nomamare.com or by post to NOMAMARE d.o.o., Bračka 3, 21400 Supetar, Croatia. Include enough information for us to identify the purchase and understand the problem.
We will acknowledge receipt without delay and send a written response within 15 days of receiving the complaint, stating whether we consider it justified.
If the dispute remains unresolved, we will provide information about the relevant alternative dispute resolution body and our participation as required by applicable law. For cross-border assistance, you may also contact the European Consumer Centre in your country. These options do not restrict your right to bring proceedings before a competent court.
10. Promotions and marketing
The terms of a promotion, including its duration, eligible products, minimum spend and any restrictions on combining offers, are shown with that offer. A discount is applied before you submit payment. We will not retrospectively withdraw a valid discount from an accepted order.
Newsletter subscriptions and promotional emails are optional. Buying a product or accepting these Terms does not automatically subscribe you. You may unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for details.
11. Intellectual property
BOVART branding and website materials are owned by NOMAMARE d.o.o. or used with permission from the relevant rights holders. Rights in jewellery designs, artworks, artist names, photographs and other artist materials belong to their respective owners. We use Ivan Midžić’s authorised materials in connection with our collaboration.
Buying a physical piece does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in its design. You may use the website for lawful purposes, but may not commercially reproduce or exploit protected website content without the relevant rights holder’s permission, except where the law allows it.
12. Privacy and website use
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how personal data and tracking technologies are used. Acceptance of these Terms does not constitute consent to optional marketing or tracking.
Please do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorised access. Temporary interruptions or third-party links do not remove our obligations for accepted orders or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Applicable law and updates
These Terms are governed by Croatian law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protection under the law of your habitual residence where that protection applies. Nothing in these Terms restricts your statutory rights or the courts available to you under applicable consumer jurisdiction rules.
If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply where they can do so lawfully. Updated Terms will be published with a revised date and apply to future contracts. They do not retrospectively change an existing contract without a lawful basis.
